Zahra Asim

Zahra Asim’s art work is a narrative of congested spaces, which in her mind’s eye are a play of pattern like formations. Her major interests are in the living spaces of Old Lahore where she had spent her childhood. Those memories are her major concerns, how she indulged in love with those spaces that she used to afraid of and with the passage of time, she was turning nostalgic and romantic for it.
Asim is currently doing Masters in art and design from Beaconhouse National University and did her bachelors From NCA in 2013. She participated in Sanat Residency in Karachi, Pakistan in 2014. Zahra has been exhibiting her work in Pakistan, Italy, Indonesia and New York. She lives and work in Lahore, Pakistan.
