Unab Sumble

Unab hails from a small town Chanab Nagar, near Chiniot. Her passion in art lead her to study Fine Arts at University of Punjab where she completed her graduation in 2016. Immediately after her graduation Sumble exhibited her work in Ejaz Gallery, Lahore and was highly appreciated for her unique way of mark making. Life may look ordinary to many around them but these simple happenings of routine life are what interest her art practice. She paints from her personal experiences and depicts portraits of common people who may not be directly related to the artist but leave an impression on artist’s life. Sumble is currently working as assistant curator at O Art Space Gallery, Lahore. Unab lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan.
