Born and raised in Pakistan’’s historical city Lahore by parents who both graduated from the National college of Arts and were running a design firm, Sameen Agha from an early age was introduced to arts and design. Drawing is something that she is passionate about and was aware of it at a young age, encouraged by her parents to follow in their footsteps Sameen enrolled herself in the Communication design department of National College of Arts Lahore in 2011. During her foundation year she learned a lot about visual arts through art seminars and lectures, in her second year she found herself constantly wanting to do assignments related to the Fine arts department and not those of her own department. In her 3rd year of college she finally decided to change her department even though that would mean repeating a year in college, starting 2nd year again but in the Fine arts department. Painting was what she chose as her major but her art works include drawings, sculptures and paintings.
Currently apart from practicing art she also teaches a Diploma programme of Visual Arts at Lahore Grammar school.
