Brief info
Born in 1991, Hyderabad, Sajid Ali Talpur graduated in Fine Arts (Miniature Painting) from National College of Arts, Lahore in 2013. He is currently doing his Masters in Visual Arts from Beacon house National University, Lahore. Ali’s art practice is based on visual representation of image and his work is influenced from drawing and its techniques like ‘pure contour drawing exercise’ and imagery like ‘objects’ from his daily life. He has exhibited his work at several venues nationally and internationally, i.e. Ejaz Gallery Lahore, Pakistan Embassy, Jakarta Indonesia, Nairang Art Gallery Lahore, VM Art Gallery Karachi, Zahoor Ul Akhlaq Gallery NCA Lahore and Alhamra Art Council Lahore. Talpur lives and works between Hyderabad and Lahore, Pakistan.
