Brief info
Grew up in picturesque town of Abbottabad, Muneeb Takes inspiration from his surrounding landscapes. His Interest lies in the perception of natural phenomena occurring in his immediate surrounding landscapes. His practice explores the visible and invisible forces and the transformations they produce on the landscape and the objects in it. He records objects, happenings, and sounds that he noticed in his surroundings. Aaqib make drawings which originate from thoughts and memories that are a consequence of experiencing place.
Aaqib is currently enrolled in MA Visual Arts Program at National College of Arts, Lahore. After Graduating form Hazara Universty he started teaching Foundation year class at University of Engineering and Technology, Abbottabad Campus .Recently he’s shifted form Abbottabad to Lahore to complete his postgraduate studies.
