Ali Azmat was born on January 5, 1973 in Multan; the city of shrines and serenity. In 1999, he completed his MFA in painting with a gold medal to his credit and the same year; he had his first solo exhibition in Lahore. Since then, he participated in many group exhibitions and mounted several one-man shows across Pakistan as well as abroad namely: This is not untitled, Moorat Series, Let a thousand flowers bloom, Sirat-e Mustaqeem, Dialogue series and Dangal. The current show is another step in his journey of exploring life and its philosophy through an array of images that the artist shares with his viewers.
