Brief info

Ahsan Jamal is an internationally acclaimed artist, trained in miniature painting from National College of Arts, Lahore. Known for his portrait paintings, his works are a part of the permanent collection of Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Japan. He has participated in numerous shows, including exhibitions at Aicon Gallery, New York, National Art Gallery, Islamabad, HNTB Gallery, Washington and Tokyo Gallery + BTAP, Cartwright Hall, Bradford, Green Cardamom, London. A research project at Khoj Studio, New Dehli following a solo show in India, Ahsan has had solo shows in various prominent Galleries in Pakistan. He has been involved as an Educator with a number of Art Institutions in Pakistan such as National College of Arts, Indus Valley School of arts and architecture, Karachi University and many others. Currently he is teaching in Department of Fine Arts, NCA and practices his Studio in Lahore.
